How we treat knee pain
Strengthening the hips and thighs takes stress off the knee. Your physical therapist will combine exercise, manual therapy and movement training, with laser therapy or acupuncture to help manage pain. Injured playing a sport? See sports injury treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Should I do physical therapy before knee replacement?
Many surgeons recommend "prehab" before surgery because stronger patients often recover faster afterward. Ask your surgeon, and we can coordinate a plan.
